The Clipper Round the World Yacht Race is one of the toughest endurance challenges on the planet. This unique, epic event sees teams battle extreme conditions as they race more than 40,000 nautical miles between ports around the globe in a true test of fortitude and determination. Sta-Lok was announced as the first Official Standing Rigging Partner for the Clipper 70s in 2017. We returned as the Official Standing Rigging Partner for both the Clipper 2019-20 Race and Clipper 2023-24 Race, supplying bespoke fittings and over 2150 metres of wire to prepare the race fleet.

Our fleet of 70-foot ocean racers are put to the ultimate test during their circumnavigation, so it is essential their rigging can stand up to the challenge.
