Overview
The Ocean Technology Systems (OTS) ABV-2 Ambient Breathing Valve is designed to allow users to breathe ambient air at the surface, conserving tank air. It includes an AGA Visor with the valve installed.

Description
The OTS ABV-2 is easy to use and features a low profile design. To operate, the user rotates the valve counterclockwise at the surface, opening a one-way valve that allows air into the full face mask (FFM). Exhaled air is expelled through the second stage regulator, preventing CO2 buildup. The valve closes automatically during dives due to overpressure in the FFM, and a valve disc helps prevent water ingress if the valve is left open. The valve maintains a low profile whether open or closed, and users will experience minimal breathing effort while conserving tank air.
