The QTrencher (QT) 400 to 1000 remotely operated vehicles (ROVs) are designed with two aluminum chassis options, providing high power trenching capabilities for burying cables, umbilicals, and small diameter pipes up to 3 meters deep in various water depths. These ROVs utilize variable high flow or high pressure jetting to optimize trenching based on anticipated conditions. They can be equipped with tracks and/or a rear eductor to enhance the burial of large diameter products, along with a suite of tools for maintenance operations. The vehicles are capable of rapid post-lay surveys due to their high thrust. This fourth-generation range of cable maintenance ROVs incorporates lessons learned in access, maintainability, and fault diagnostics to maximize vehicle availability.
