IN-LINE CONDITION MONITORING UNIT (ICMU) The SMD Curvetech™ ICMU provides continuous monitoring of hydraulic fluid used on subsea vehicle systems, measuring fluid particle contamination, moisture level and temperature. Feedback is linked to the vehicle’s control system alarms, should a change in the fluid condition be detected. The advanced warning of an increased contamination or water ingress level, can allow the operators to act on an issue before significant and expensive damage to mission critical components can occur.
