COMPENSATORS SMD offer a wide range of Curvetech™ Compensators suitable for subsea oil-filled assemblies which need to be internally pressurised above ambient. The compensators utilise a roller diaphragm arrangement to transmit ambient changes in pressure. The compensating mechanism is complemented with springs of various rates to ensure the internal pressure remains above that of the surrounding water. Analogue transducers are available for all compensators to continuously monitor oil levels. Curvetech™ Compensators are constructed from stainless steel to ensure corrosion resistance. Versions are available suitable for operation to full ocean depth.
