General Performance
The 12Te SWL Axial Umbilical Winch is designed for ROV LARS applications and is certified by Lloyds. It operates in safe environments with a line pull of 14Te on the bottom layer and 12Te on the top layer. The winch speed is variable, reaching up to 45m/min depending on the layer and available hydraulic power. It functions within a temperature range of -10°C to +45°C.

Weight and Capacity
The standard weight of the winch with an empty drum is 23Te. It has an umbilical capacity of 2800m on 6 layers for a 40mm umbilical, utilizing a 40mm sheave and LinksynTM technology.

Mounting and Drive
The winch is deck-mounted with four bolted plate points welded to the deck. It features a Bosch Rexroth (Hagglund) direct drive and an integral band brake. The main lift is supported by a 4-point DNV 2.7-3 sling set.

Spooling and Hydraulic System
The winch includes a fleeting carriage mounted axially to maintain a constant fleeting exit point. The hydraulic supply can reach a maximum of 280bar, with all fittings made of stainless steel and quick-release couplings for connections.

Dimensions
The winch measures 4800mm in length across the drum, 2890mm in width, and 4200mm in height including fleeting. The drum features a Lebus Shell with a core diameter of 1800mm and flange diameter of 2530mm.

Control and Instrumentation
The winch is operated via a standalone control console with options for pick-up/pay-out, left/right fleeting, and auto/manual fleeting. It supports constant tension with a setpoint and allows for remote operation. Instrumentation includes system pressure and length out monitoring.

Additional Features
Optional features include an axial fleeting system, spray bar and canopy, and a deck observation camera.
