The system provides vessel motion and weather monitoring on one single SMC Panel Display The SMC HOSY helideck system is not a CAP437 standard system for moving platforms, used for offshore vessels. Vessel Motion Monitoring Display The SMC VMMS enables a straightforward and simple evaluation of the Yachts’ movements by logging, processing and display the movements in real time with data from the SMC Motion Reference Unit. The graphical display shows rotational and linear measurements for Roll, Pitch, Heave, and Heave Rate together statistical data. Alarm Levels for Safe, Warning and Critical motion levels can be set which is displayed in the traffic light Go / Warning / No Go display for operations such as Crew and Equipment Transfer. Weather Display The Weather Display presents the data for Wind, Temperature, Humidity and Pressure. Other instruments can be used and configured in the same graphical layout. Data Log All data is stored in the 12 GB built-in emmc disk drive. The data is time stamped and stored in a SQL database and can be viewed using the built-in log view. The logged data can be exported to comma separated text files. The screen presents data collected from the SMC Motion Reference Unit and a Weather Station that are included in the system, together with data from the GPS and Gyro compass provided by the Vessel. The data is presented on an easy to read 10.1 inch high resolution touch screen for usage in bright environments. The screen has brightness control and comes with three different themes and colors to switch between to enhance the user experience. The graphical display and logged data can be accessed remotely over the LAN via a web interface using a standard browser.
