SIGMADUR 500US - 1

two component aliphatic acrylic polyurethane finish - unlimited recoatable - excellent resistance to atmospheric exposure conditions - very good colour and gloss retention - excellent hiding power - good application properties with conventional and airless spray equipment - excellent brush and roll properties - tough, flexible and abrasion resistant - can be used over properly prepared and primed surfaces for most atmospheric applications white and various other colours (see also the SigmaCare Shade Card of PPG Protective & Marine Coatings) - highgloss Mass density Volume solids Recommended dry film thickness Theoretical spreading rate Overcoating interval Full cure after Shelf life (cool and dry place) (data for mixed product) 2 - 3 mils (50 - 75 urn) depending on system - previous coat; (epoxy or polyurethane) dry and free from any contamination and sufficiently roughened if necessary - substrate temperature should be at least 5°F ( 3°C) above dew point - premature exposure to early condensation and rain may cause colour and gloss change - maximum relative humidity during application and curing is 80% Marine Coatings

Induction time mixing ratio by volume: base to hardener 4:1 - power agitate each component to uniform consistency before combining, then again after combining.DO NOT vary portions - the temperature of the mixed base and hardener should preferably be above 59°F ( 15°C), otherwise extra solvent may be required to obtain application - too much solvent results in reduced sag resistance and slower cure - thinner should be added after mixing the components - multiple coats may be required for optimal hiding power in application over dark primers and/or when roller application is used Recommended...
