TT-P-645B Protective PRIMER, ZINC MOLYBDATE, ALKYD, F-84 & Marine Coatings Y N42Y100 ELLOW PRODUCT DESCRIPTION RECOMMENDED USES TT-P-645 is a zinc molybdate, alkyd primer formulated for use as a general primer for applications to steel and aluminum. This product complies with Military Specication TT-P-645, Formula 84. For use on prepared steel and aluminum in marine and industrial environments: • Marine Vessels - interior and exterior • Offshore platforms PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS Finish: • Complies with Military Specication TT-P-645, Formula 84 Color Yellow Volume Solids: Weight Solids: Recommended Spreading Rate per coat: Wet mils (microns) Dry mils (microns) ~Coverage sq ft/gal (m2/L) Theoretical coverage sq ft/gal 896 21.9 (m2/L) @ 1 mil / 25 microns dft NOTE: Brush or roll application may require multiple coats to achieve maximum lm thickness and uniformity of appearance.
