TT-P-28H Protective LOW VOC HEAT RESISTING ALUMINUM & Marine Coatings N43S150 Revised 7/10 9.55 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION RECOMMENDED USES TT-P-28 is a one component, modied silicone, heat resistant coating formulated to withstand normal weather exposure and temperatures up to 1200°F. Designed for use on superheated steam lines, boiler casings, boiler drums, superheated headers and similar high temperature applications at temperatures up to 1200°F. PRODUCT CHARACTERISTICS PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS Finish: Aluminum Sheen • Heat resistant to 1200°F Color: Aluminum - #17178 Volume Solids: 36% +/- 2.0% Weight Solids: 44% +/- 2.0% VOC (Calculated): <2.05 lbs/gal (240 gms/liter) Color Aluminum - #17178 Product/Rex Number N43S150 Recommended Spreading Rate per coat: Minimum 2.0 0.7 Maximum 3.0 1.0 Wet mils Dry mils ~Coverage sq ft/gal 579 NOTE: Brush or roll application may require multiple coats to achieve maximum lm thickness and uniformity of appearance. Drying Schedule @ 2.0 mils wet @ 50% RH: @ 77°F To touch: 1 hour To recoat: 24 hours To service*: 3 hours *Full hardness of the coating is not achieved until heated at least 1 hour at 400°F. Service time refers to the number of hours the nal coat should air dry before the unit is placed under heat service. Drying time is temperature, humidity, and lm thickness dependent.
