  • SF BW 500: Length options are 10, 12, 15, 20 meters; width with fender is 5.25 meters, without fender is 5.0 meters; height is 1.8 meters; weight ranges from 32 to 65 tons; freeboard is approximately 0.5 meters; buoyancy is 500 kg/m²; connectors are 2 units W 400/500 per joint; breaking load is 2x105 tons per joint for W 400 and 2x140 tons per joint for W 500.
Construction Standards: The pontoons are manufactured according to Swedish Concrete Standards BBK 04, using C40/50 concrete with 6% air content and a water-cement ratio of less than 0.4. Reinforcement includes Nps 500 and Ks 500, and styrofoam with a minimum of 60 kPa. Cast-in materials are stainless or hot-dipped galvanized steel, and the wood fender is made from pressure-treated pine.
Additional Information: The pontoons are designed to accommodate electrical and water supply services and are typically moored using chains and blocks. Other dimensions can be customized upon request, and the company reserves the right to make alterations.

SFBW500-1

The geometry of this pontoon, in combination with our patented coupling and an advanced mooring system, makes our floating breakwater an excellent wave attenuator. This pontoon have been developed gradually over a number of years and today there are numerous reference-installations in use worldwide. The breakwaters from SF MARINA are all-concrete pontoons with all the advantages of high stability and buoyancy. The all concrete and styrofoam construction of the pontoon produces a very high degree of buoyancy thus making it virtually unsinkable. As a result of the use of high quality materials, coupled with a thorough manufacturing process, the pontoon enjoys a long life-span. Each standard pontoon is designed to accept electrical and water supply services. Normally, the pontoons would be moored using chains and blocks. This pontoons are first and foremost as a floating breakwater. However, they can be used universally where the potential of a pontoon having high stability and freeboard can be utilized. - SPECIFICATIONS - The pontoon is manufactured in accordance with the Swedish Concrete Standards BBK 04 SF BW 300 Length: Width: Width: Height: Weight: Freeboard: Buoyancy: Connecto rs: Breaking load: Breaking load: 10, 12, 15, 20 m Incl. fender 3.25 m Excl. fender 3.0 m 1.8 m Approx. 20, 24, 30, 40 ton Approx. 0.5 m Approx. 500kg/m2 2 units W 300/400 per joint W 300: 2x70 ton per joint W 400: 2x105 ton per joint SF BW 400 Length: Width: Width: Height: Weight: Freeboard: Buoyancy: Connectors: Breaking load: Breaking load: 10, 12, 15, 20 m Incl. fender 4.25 m Excl. fender 4.0 m 1.8 m Approx. 27, 33, 42, 55 ton Approx. 0.5 m Approx. 500kg/m2 2 units W 400/500 per joint W 400: 2x105 ton per joint W 500: 2x140 ton per joint SF BW 500 Length: Width: Width: Height: Weight: Freeboard: Buoyancy: Connectors: Breaking load: Breaking load: All-concrete pontoons: Concrete: C40/50.
