Sydney Harbour Syndicate Seawind Syndicates are fast becoming a popular means of owning a new boat, at a fraction of the cost but with a guaranteed regular usage. With Seawind facilitating the formation of the Syndicate with guidelines, roster, maintenance program and syndicate handbook, this is the easiest and most convenient way of owning a boat. See over for prices and inclusions. Location & Yearly Costs The Syndicate is to be based in Sydney Harbour on a walk-on floating marina berth with 7 day access. This provides easy and convenient access to the boat whilst in the heart of the Sydney’s best cruising and sailing grounds making it convenient for local owners. A regular maintenance and cleaning package is available to keep the boat in pristine condition. The boat will also be scheduled yearly for slipping, antifouling and other general maintenance. Only pay a share of the costs! Yearly budget: Time Allocation Based on a 6 share syndicate, the usage program provides each share holder 1 week access (Wed to Tues) to the boat every 6 weeks, with major holidays being rotated yearly. Of course,the more shares owned by a shareholder, the more usage that owner gets. Marina Berth Detailing Insurance Maintenance Fund Slipping & Antifoul Engine Servicing Anchor Winch & Toilet Service Total: Per 1/6 share per year: To join a Syndicate, we require a $1,500 expression of interest deposit that is refundable if you change your mind or if the Syndicate is not formed. Although Seawind will facilitate the formation of the Syndicate, it does not have any formal on-going role in managing or operating the syndicate.
