Application Procedure

  • Step 2: Creating a Surface Profile - Abrade the substrate with P80-120 grade abrasive paper and clean with Seajet Thinner. Avoid touching the substrate without gloves.
  • Step 3: Application Primer - Stir the Pellerclean Primer Base, mix with Primer Hardener, and apply two coats. Maintain a maximum overcoating interval of 7 days and a drying time of 15-30 minutes between coats.
  • Step 4: Application Clear Coat - Apply at least two coats of Pellerclean Clear Coat, with a 30-minute interval between coats.
Repair and Recoating
For intact systems, re-coat after washing with fresh water. Do not apply primer over the clear coat. Re-coating may be necessary annually in high cavitation areas.
Success Factors
Ensure thorough surface treatment and apply only in dry conditions with temperatures above 5°C and humidity below 85%. Drying time before launch is 8 hours at 20°C, or overnight at 5°C.
Environmental and Safety Considerations
Dispose of brushes, paint cans, and other materials according to local regulations. Avoid contamination of other areas with silicone from the clear coat.
