SEAJET 034 EMPEROR A Product description Seajet 034 Emperor A is a high performance self polishing antifouling, suitable for aluminium. Ideal for club racers as it can be burnished during the season. Available in bright colours. No risk of galvanic corrosion on aluminium surfaces. Preceding coating SEAJET 015 Underwater Primer, SEAJET 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer. Subsequent coating Before use, stir thoroughly until product is mixed to a uniform consistency. * Film thickness and spreading rate depends on application method, more layers may be required to achieve the specified film thickness. Values are based on roller application. Maximum immersion time after application is 6 months. After immersion, Seajet 034 A Emperor may exhibit a slight colour change. Colour difference between batches may occur. Mix different batches before use. Surface preparation High pressure wash (±200 bar) to clean the surface. Existing antifouling in good condition: check the SEAJET antifouling compatibility table. If compatible, apply direct. If the old antifouling is not compatible or unknown, apply a barrier coat of SEAJET 015. Existing antifouling in poor condition: remove antifouling. Antifouling should only be wet sanded or chemically stripped. Never burn-off or dry sand old antifouling. Ensure the surface is dry and free of contamination such as salt, grease or oil. Degrease if required. Apply 2 coats. Apply an extra coat on leading edges, waterline, rudders and stern gear. New application: GRP/Wood: first sand with P100 abrasive paper, remove all dust and apply 3 coats SEAJET 015 or SEAJET 117. Steel: first sand with P100 abrasive paper, remove all dust and apply 3 coats SEAJET 117. Aluminium: first sand with P100 abrasive paper, remove all dust and apply 4 coats of SEAJET 117. Surface must be dry between coats.

Before re-coating, always check that the existing paint film is 'through' dry. Store the containers in a dry, cool and well ventilated space and away from direct sunlight. Containers must be kept firmly closed. Handle with care. The product should stay in a securely closed container during transport.
