SEAJET 012 UNIVERSAL PRIMER/UNDERCOAT Product description Seajet 012 Universal Primer is a primer and undercoat for one component topcoats. Suitable for above the waterline only. Seajet 012 is quick drying and has an excellent adhesion to all surfaces and subsequent coats. Can be applied over aged coatings after sanding. SEAJET 017 on aluminium, SEAJET 117. SEAJET 122 BRILLIANCE TOPCOAT. Before use, stir thoroughly until product is mixed to a uniform consistency. Notes *Film thickness and spreading rate depends on application method. Surface preparation Degrease and clean surface. For paint in good condition: abrade with P100-P120 grade abrasive paper first. Bare fibreglass: abrade using P100-P120 abrasive paper followed by final cleaning. Apply a single coat of SEAJET 012 UNIVERSAL PRIMER/UNDERCOAT. Steel hulls: sand blast to SA 2^ or hand sanding with P100-P120. Apply 2 coats of SEAJET 117 followed by 2 coats of SEAJET 012 UNIVERSAL PRIMER/UNDERCOAT. Aluminum: apply one coat of SEAJET 017 followed by 2 coats SEAJET 012 UNIVERSAL PRIMER/UNDERCOAT, followed by the remaining top coats. Bare wood: sand with P100-P120 grade abrasive paper at 45° to the grain. Degrease using thinner wiping. Then apply 3-4 coats of SEAJET 012 UNIVERSAL PRIMER/UNDERCOAT. After application of primer the topcoat can be applied.

SEAJET 012 UNIVERSAL PRIMER/UNDERCOATDrying / overcoating data Temperature General information Storage Store the containers in a dry, cool and well ventilated space and away from direct sunlight. Containers must be kept firmly closed. Handle with care. Transportation The product should stay in a securely closed container during transport. Shelf life Min. 3 years @ 20°C Disposal Do not empty into drains, dispose of this material and its container at hazardous or special waste collection point.
