Base: 75 Hardener: 25 (by volume) * In case of brush or roller application more layers may be required to achieve the specified film thickness. The amount of thinner to be added depends on temperature of the paint and the substrate to be painted. Application by a short hair mohair or foam roller suited for polyurethanes, followed by brushing out to a smooth paint film with a soft long haired, good quality brush gives the best possible results. Airless spray is not advised as application method. Surface preparation Surface in poor condition: remove old paint layers by sanding or stripping. Existing paint in good condition or GRP: clean the surface. Wash down with fresh water and let it dry. Flatten back with P180-P280 abrasive paper. Clean the surface with a tack rag. SEAJET 132 Polyurethane Topcoat can be applied direct to fibreglass. Or, first apply SEAJET 117 Multipurpose Epoxy Primer as an undercoat to obtain an even colour. Apply a minimum of two coats of SEAJET 132 Polyurethane Topcoat. Sand between coats with P320-P400 for a better finish. Clean the surface with a tack rag. Wood, steel and aluminum have to be primed with the appropriate primers. Avoid painting topcoats when damp or in direct sunlight. Dry mornings are best to paint. Mix thoroughly and stir well before use. Add thinner and mix thorough.
