Up to 100 kg (220 lbs) gripping capability for object retrieval with standard tether. Intuitive open/close and rotate controls for the Grabber are located on the Operator Control Unit (OCU) and can be used at any time during the dive. For depths beyond 300 meters (1,000 ft), the grabber is oil-compensated. The SeaBotix Wrist Rotate Grabber is able to rotate a full 360° to more easily align the tools in real time during dive operations. Constructed from hard anodized aluminum components, this durable tool can be mounted in a variety of locations on the MiniROV and retracted or extended to the desired position. Grabber attachments are easy to interchange. Simply remove 3-4 small screws and rotate the attachment off. Reverse the process with a different attachment and it’s ready to be put to work. A three jaw attachment comes standard with the grabber and is designed to grab objects of various shapes in a variety of orientations (also available in stainless steel). For object retrieval requiring even pressure around an object, a parallel two jaw attachment is available with two pads that mechanically move parallel to each other. It also has a non-skid texture for grip. An interlocking jaw (small or large) attachment is excellent for objects that are cylindrical in shape or have a flat surface. The larger jaw can also grab human limbs for body recovery missions and is available with a quick release pin. A cutter tool attachment is available for cutting through most common marine debris, such as ropes, copper wire electrical cables, fishing line, nets, and seaweed. A Teledyne Marine Company
