Application Details

  • Fiberglass/Vinyl Ester Hulls: Follow specific application guidelines.
  • Wood Surfaces: Sand with 80 grit, clean, and apply TALON with a reduced first coat.
  • Aluminum: Use only with a proper barrier coat system.
  • Steel Vessels: Apply over a clean, existing surface or sealer, with high-pressure water washing recommended.
Limitations
  • Apply in temperatures above 50°F (10°C) and ensure surface temperature is at least 5°F (1°C) above dew point.

Mixing and Additives
  • Thorough mixing required due to copper oxide concentration.
