History Schoellhorn-Albrecht Our accommodation ladders and gangways work in a variety of settings, with the most common being commercial ships, small passenger vessels, docks, navy piers, and refineries. History Schoellhorn-Albrecht has enjoyed a long history in Saint Louis, Missouri supporting the inland river industry. Pictured at left is the SchoellhoenAlbrecht building in 1887. It was located on the St. Louis Riverfront in historic Laclede’s Landing located on the west bank of the Mississippi River. Pictured below is the current Schoellhorn-Albrecht building located in St. Louis County.
