Dimensions On the following page you will find a basic layout sample. Lengths of segments A segment is defined as the distance between the individual pylons. Since we construct four to six pylons cableways we have four to six segments (generally two long segments and two to four short ones). Normally the obstacles are positioned on the long segments. Technical Details • A 4 to 6 pylon system is possible 4 – 16 persons can ski at the same time (depends on length of cableway). The minimal distance of the carriers with a speed of 30 km/h is 70 m.
