Such contaminants cause fuel systems wear and tear, engine failure, premature maintenance, and high repair costs. The system is a key component of a clean fuel management plan and proper preventative maintenance. The control is designed to operate the system manually or on a weekly schedule, and triggers an audio/visual alarm and pump shutdown when service is required. It provides control over the fuel quality feeding diesel-powered equipment, and the operations that rely on it.
