Product catalog summary
Introduction
RESOLTECH 3350 with hardeners 3357T (standard) and 3358T (fast) is a high-performance structural epoxy adhesive. It is rubber-toughened, offering high shear and peeling resistances, and can be applied in all weather conditions, including high humidity. The adhesive is available in cans or cartridges and is suitable for machine dispensing with a 2:1 ratio.

Specifications
The adhesive system is unfilled, providing high tenacity and toughness. It can bond materials with significant differences in coefficients of thermal expansion (CTE). The rheology is similar to universal grease, facilitating easy application with a spatula or brush. The adhesive can be applied vertically up to 10mm and horizontally up to 15mm without sagging.

Mixing Ratio
The mixing ratio by weight is 100/45 for 3357T and 100/42 for 3358T, with a volume ratio of 2/1. Accurate mixing is crucial for optimal mechanical properties.

Application Procedures
Surfaces must be clean, dust-free, and degreased. Abrade surfaces with medium grit paper and clean with acetone or similar solvents. For metals, chemical pre-treatment and mechanical abrasion are recommended. The adhesive can be applied with various tools and should be maintained in contact during hardening.

Physical Characteristics
The mixed adhesive is a pale yellow opaque gel. The density at 23°C is approximately 1.00 for the resin and varies slightly for the hardeners.

Reactivities
Gel time at 23°C is 1h34min for 3357T and 25min for 3358T. The exothermic peak temperature is 57°C for 3357T and 166°C for 3358T.

Mechanical Properties
The adhesive exhibits a flexion modulus of 2.02 GPa and a maximum strength of 63.5 MPa. It shows excellent resistance to crack propagation and shear resistance on steel.

Reticulation & Post-Curing
To achieve maximum thermo-mechanical properties, follow the recommended curing cycle. The glass transition temperature (TG) is 42.5°C for 3357T and 45.9°C for 3358T.

Packaging
The adhesive is available in various packaging sizes, including metal boxes and buckets, and cartridges for dispensing guns.

Health & Safety
Protective clothing and eye protection are necessary. Ensure adequate ventilation and use respiratory protection with ABEKP coded filters. Full Material Safety Data Sheets are available.

Transport & Storage
Store in sealed containers between 10°C and 30°C in a well-ventilated area. Products are guaranteed in their original packaging.

INTRODUCTION RESOLTECH 3350 / 3357T or 3358T high performance unfilled adhesive offers high tenacity and toughness. Its good elongation ratio enables to bond most materials, even if they have a large CTE difference. The system rheology is close to a universal grease, making the mixing and application very easy with a spatula or even with a brush. The 3350 with 3357T (standard) or 3358T (fast) has a vertical sagging limit of 10mm on vertical applications & 15mm on horizontal applications. It will enable to bond bulkheads with 20 mm diameter fillet joints. Other versions available are: • • • •...

RETICULATION & POST-CURING In order to obtain the maximum thermo-mechanical properties, it is necessary to respect the recommended curing cycle. The table below shows the glass transition temperatures (DSC) according to different curing cycles. TG measured on Kinetech® Shore D hardness measured at 23°C according to ISO 868 Post-curing cycles previously presented were chosen in order to reach the maximum potential of each systems. Depending on piece size, oven performance and hardener used, shorter post-curing cycles could lead to fully cured parts. Please contact our laboratory service for any...
