Product catalog summary
Introduction
The Resoltech 1050 epoxy laminating system is designed for high-performance lightweight structures using various reinforcements like glass, carbon, aramid, and basalt. It is free from CMR substances, including salicylic acid, and offers low exotherm, low viscosity, and excellent air release properties. Suitable for small to large composite parts, it ensures low toxicity working conditions.

Specifications
- Adjustable pot life from 10 minutes to 14 hours.
- Room temperature cure with a glass transition temperature (TG) up to 75°C.
- Excellent wetting properties for improved interlaminar properties.
- Suitable for wet lay-up, infusion, injection molding, or filament winding.
- Mixing ratio by weight: 100/35; by volume varies slightly with hardener type.

Mixing and Application
Mixing must be thorough for homogeneity, and the ratio must be followed precisely to maintain mechanical properties. Application can be done by brush, roller, infusion, or injection. Workshop temperatures should be between 18-25°C for optimal results.

Physical Characteristics
The system is a neutral to transparent yellow liquid with varying densities and viscosities depending on the hardener used. Mixed density and viscosity are provided for each hardener.

Reactivities
Gel times and exothermic peak temperatures vary with different hardeners, affecting the pot life and curing process.

Curing and Post-Curing
To achieve maximum thermo-mechanical properties, recommended curing cycles must be followed. Glass transition temperatures and Shore D hardness are provided for different curing conditions.

Mechanical Properties
Mechanical properties such as flexion modulus, maximum strength, and elongation at yield are detailed for different curing conditions, showing variations with different hardeners.

Packaging
Available in various kit sizes from small jerrycans to large drums and IBC kits.

Transport & Storage
Store between 10°C and 30°C in a well-ventilated area. Ensure containers are sealed and check expiry dates.

Health & Safety
Protective gear is necessary to avoid skin and eye contact. Adequate ventilation and respiratory protection are recommended. Full Material Safety Data Sheets are available.
