RESOLTECH Epoxy Pigment Pastes RAL colour epoxy pigment pastes Easily dispersible All RAL colours available Resoltech epoxy concentrated pigment pastes consist of pigments suspended in epoxy resin which allows them to blend thoroughly into epoxy resins to make very uniform colours. They are used to tint epoxy resins used as coatings, paints, gelcoats, laminating, casting or self levelling resins. The high tinting properties enable to use little quantities of pigment. The quantity to be used depends on the colour chosen as some colours cover better than other (yellows for example need higher quantities that other colours). The quantity of dispersant agents used in the pigments are minimal so there they do not affect the general behaviour of the film when used in paints. APPLICATION Homogenize the pigment before with a stirrer before incorporating it. Incorporate the epoxy pigment paste in the resin while mixing the resin. It is imperative to take into account the quantity of epoxy resin contained in the pigment paste to respect the stoichiometric resin + hardener mixing ratio. If there is no precise indication of how much pigment paste to add in a certain quantity of resin, or if you change the pigment paste recommended quantity, contact us so we re-calculate for you the mixing ratio of the tinted resin + hardener. It is possible to obtain see-through tints by reducing the amount of pigment, and all our pigment pastes are mixable with each others to obtain non RAL tints.
