The system has a pot life of 1 hour at 25°C and hardens completely in 24 to 48 hours. It offers chemical resistance to substances like toluene, bleach, ethanol, nitric acid, lactic acid, and deionized water.

Packaging and Storage:
The components are packaged in metal and plastic containers, with a shelf life of one year if stored properly between 10°C and 30°C. Containers should be sealed and kept away from extreme temperatures.

Very high resistance Mat surface aspect RESOLCOAT 4020 W is a water based self levelling, thick, highly resistant epoxy coating system based on a 100% dry extract epoxy resin. It´s unique formula enables the realization of perfectly levelled floors—with a simple no-nonsense application method. Perfect surfaces will be obtained with 3 mm (~5Kg/m²) to maximum 6 mm (~10Kg/m²) . Apart for hydrophobic or greasy surfaces, RESOLCOAT 4020 W is compatible with most subtracts such as concrete, cement, stone, terracotta, metal, composites...etc. Nevertheless, on porous subtracts, it is recommended to apply a primer coat of RESOLCOAT 1010—1014 in order to close the surface and block air bubbles coming up. Application may be done with a notched spatula or a flat ruler with calibrated spacers in order to achieve uniform thicknesses while spreading the compound. It is recommended to use bubble buster rollers in order to achieve perfect mat surfaces with a slightly anti skid surface. If necessary, it is possible to increase the scratch resistance with a modified Polycarbonate varnish RESOLTHAN TOP FINISH with mat, semi gloss or high gloss aspect. Resolcoat 4020W should not be used on surfaces exposed to intense direct UV exposure.
