Introduction
RESOLTECH 1070(S) CLEAR is a high-end crystal clear epoxy laminating system designed for clear laminates and high gloss coatings with excellent UV stability and mechanical properties. It is suitable for professional use in manufacturing surfboards, wind-surfs, kite-boards, and other composite parts requiring a high-end finish. The system is formulated to be UV resistant and allows for polyester topcoat application without inhibition.

Specifications
The system offers three choices of reactivity and is easy to use with room temperature curing and self-leveling properties. It has excellent degassing and wetting properties, and the viscosity is suitable for squeegee or brush application.

Application and Mixing
Recommended workshop temperature is between 18-25°C. The mixing ratio must be accurately followed to maintain mechanical properties: 1070 CLEAR/1074 and 1070S CLEAR/1074 require a 100/40 weight ratio, while 1070 CLEAR/1077 requires a 100/45 weight ratio. Thorough stirring is necessary for homogeneity.

Reactivities
Different systems have varying gel times and exothermic peak temperatures. For example, 1070 CLEAR/1074 has a gel time of 3h 30min at 23°C, while 1070 CLEAR/1077 has a gel time of 15min.

Mechanical Properties
To achieve maximum thermo-mechanical properties, follow the recommended curing cycle. Systems cured for 14 days at 23°C or 16h at 60°C show different flexion modulus and maximum strength values.

Packaging
Available in various packaging sizes, from small jerrycan kits to large IBC kits, catering to different volume needs.

Health & Safety
Protective clothing and eye protection are necessary to avoid skin and eye contact. Adequate ventilation and respiratory protection with ABEKP coded filters are recommended. Full Material Safety Data Sheets are available.

Transport & Storage
Store in sealed containers away from heat and cold, ideally between 10°C and 30°C, in a well-ventilated area. Products are guaranteed in their original packaging.
