The Ranger R–25SC is designed for both the journey and the destination, offering a 25% larger cockpit than the original R–25, providing nearly 50 square feet of aft deck space. It features a full 8-½-foot beam for spacious on-deck areas and large interior spaces. The boat includes private compartments for sleeping up to five people, an enclosed head with shower, sink, and marine toilet, and a helm with full instrumentation and optional navigation package. The galley is equipped with a sink, stove, and refrigerator. Large cabin windows and overhead skylight hatches enhance the interior brightness and provide panoramic views.
The self-bailing cockpit is suitable for fishing or relaxation, with a transom door leading to a full swim platform. The deckhouse offers storage space for items like crab pots or kayaks. The cockpit design allows for more storage and easy access to the standard 4BY2 150 HP Yanmar diesel engine, which is located outside the cabin for quiet cruising and excellent fuel economy.
The Ranger R–25SC can be customized for year-round cruising with options available. It includes yacht-sized features like standard bow and stern thrusters for excellent maneuverability around docks. The 8’6” beam allows for easy trailering.
