Quantum sails DOMINATE at the Beneteau First 36.7 North American Championships The picture says it all! Quantum was there in force with 7 of the 10-boat fleet using Quantum sails. Jim Carkhuff’s “Wild Onion” narrowly missed 1st place by 1 point and Hal Denton’s team on “Vitesse” nudged out Garth Hitchen’s “ Gijima Kakhulu” by 1 point for a 3rd place finish. Quantum sails won 2 of the 4 races and proved to have the best boat speed in the fleet. Quantum powered boats finished 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9.
