Introduction
The Dockside Prefilter from General Ecology, Inc. is designed to enhance on-board water quality by prefiltering fresh water from dockside or marina sources. It is intended for use with General Ecology® purifiers to create a comprehensive on-board water system.

Product Description
The Dockside Prefilter is engineered to extend the life of Seagull®IV Purification Systems by filtering out contaminants such as sand, dirt, rust, and suspended particulates. It uses the Aqua-Polish® Filtration Cartridge with a one-micron retention capability to remove chlorine, dirt, scale, and larger particles. However, it is not designed to remove microbiological contaminants.

Usage and Certification
For complete water purification, the Dockside Prefilter should be used in conjunction with a Seagull®IV Water Purifier, which is independently certified to EPA Guide Standards for removing chemical, aesthetic, and microbiological contaminants, including viruses and bacteria.
