Product Description:

The KD-FLG Flat (Transparent) Glass Level Gauge is designed for use with opaque liquids and liquid interfaces. It features a transparent glass with a reflective layer for viewing liquid levels. Suitable for low-pressure applications, it is not recommended for water or steam + water interfaces.

Installation and Maintenance:

Simple installation using standard DIN pattern process flanges.
No calibration or routine maintenance required.
Non-return valve integrated into the bottom connection block, optional for the top connection block.
Three top connection options: top vent tube, closed tank return, or closed tank return with integrated non-return valve.

Specifications:

Mounting type: DIN/ANSI/JIS flange with integral support for longer gauge heights.
Materials: Marine bronze, 304 stainless steel, borosilicate glass.
Process connections: Centre-to-centre 285 to 5100 mm, DIN/ANSI/JIS flange.
Maximum operating pressure: 3 barg.
Maximum operating temperature: 120°C (60°C for flammable liquids).

Flat (Transparent) Glass Level Gauges Are constructed using a completely transparent glass (without reflex markings) with a reflective layer behind. The liquid level is viewed against this background. Flat glass level gauges are used when the liquid is opaque (blocks lights). They are also commonly used for measuring the levels in a liquid + liquid interface. They are suitable for low pressure applications with fluids such as fuel oil or lubricating oil.
