Product catalog summary
Key Features
  • High visibility of liquid level without external power, offering an advantage over glass tube level gauges.
  • Customizable float SG, connection length, scale graduation, and markings for specific applications.
  • Compatible with a wide range of DIN, JIS, and ANSI pattern process connections.
  • Constructed with stainless steel float and chamber for compatibility with common marine fluids, ensuring safe installation and operation.
  • Designed and type-approved for marine duty, offering robustness and reliability without the need for routine service or calibration.
Operating Principle

The magnetic float level gauge uses a float with an internally sealed magnet that moves inside a tubular chamber connected to the storage tank. The float is calibrated to match vessel conditions, considering density, operating pressure, and temperature for accurate and repeatable measurements. An external vertical indicator rail with colored flappers changes color as the float passes, providing a stable indication even under severe conditions like vibration and rapid liquid level changes. Optional modules are available for switch point or continuous output.

Magnetic Float Level Gauges The magnetic float level gauge operates using a float, with an internally sealed magnet, that rises and falls inside the tubular chamber connected at the top and bottom to the storage tank. Floats are specifically calibrated to match the conditions of the vessel. The density, operating pressure and temperature are taken into account, ensuring that the measured level is accurate and repeatable. On the outside is a vertical indicator rail housing a series of indicator flappers. Each of the coloured flappers contains a small magnet which rotates through 180’, changing...
