Product catalog summary
Key Features
  • Direct measurement of liquid levels under process temperature and pressure conditions.
  • Suitable for transparent fluids like drinking water and boiler feed water.
  • Offers a wide range of process connections, valve options, and scale graduations.
  • Constructed from carbon steel and borosilicate glass.
  • Designed and approved for marine duty by the BV certifying authority.
Reflex Glass Level Gauges

These gauges use a glass with a reflective layer and grooves acting as prisms. Light is refracted and lost where liquid is present, creating a visual distinction between liquid (grey column) and air (white column). They are ideal for transparent liquids and are easy to install with standard DIN pattern process flanges, requiring no calibration or routine maintenance. Optional valves for boiler feed water applications include isolation valves, chain valves, and steam drain cocks. Measuring scales are customized for each application.

Specifications
  • Model code options include mounting type and materials of construction.
  • Materials: Carbon steel for channels and connection blocks, borosilicate glass, and marine bronze scale.
  • Process connections range from 320 to 2870 mm, with DIN/ANSI/JIS flange options.
  • Maximum operating pressure is 20 Bar g, and temperature is 200°C.
  • Customizable options for process connections, valve options, and scale markings.

Reflex Glass Level Gauges Are constructed using a glass with a reflective layer behind. The glass has a series of groves cut into its inside surface that act as prisms. Light entering the gauge is internally refracted and lost where there is liquid present behind the front glass, but conversely reflected back where there is no liquid present behind the front glass. Thus the level measurement is seen as a grey column (liquid) with a white column (air) above. Reflex glass level gauges are used when the liquid is transparent. They are commonly used for measuring the levels of drinking water or high...
