PropcLeanTechnical Data Sheet Product Line PropcLean Description PropcLean is an alcohol based, specialised cleaner. Typical Uses As a cleaner/degreaser for propellers, shafts, struts and rudders prior to application of the Propspeed foul release system. Application Propclean should be used before the application of Propprep to remove any organic contaminants, including grease and oil resulted from fingertip contact with the metal substrate. Apply Propclean with wipes, working a small area at a time. Remove any excess Propclean immediately by wiping throughly with a clean, dry rag. Performance Excellent metal surface cleaner in preparation for Propspeed system application. Limitations The surface which has been cleaned with Propclean should be painted as soon as possible after treatment (preferably within 4 hours). Propclean should not be used on zinc, cadmium, and magnesium as these are susceptible to chemical attack by acids. Health & Safety Propclean Propclean is alcohol based. Operators should wear gloves, goggles and protective clothing. If splashed onto the skin, wash off with copious amounts of soap and water. If splashed into eyes, wash and flush eye with water for minimum of 15 minutes. In case of ingestion, give patient copious quantities of water or milk. Do not induce vomiting. In all cases seek medical attention promptly. See MSDS for further safety information.
