VOYAGER POLYSAFE STUD TILE-1

PRODUCT VOYAGER POLYSAFE STUD TILE SPECIFICATION • The flooring shall be Polyflor Voyager Polysafe Stud Tile as supplied by Polyflor Ltd. of Manchester, England. • The flooring shall be a high-grade synthetic rubber tile, 500 x 500mm in 3.0mm thickness. • The flooring shall have low profile circular studs, to provide ease of maintenance. • In accordance with EN 12199, the in-use classification must be at least 23/32/41 as described in EN 685. • The studded rubber flooring shall be 500 x 500mm square, with studs of diameter 24.5mm at the base and 0.5mm in height. • In respect of flamespread, the flooring shall have been fully tested to EN 13501-1 and certified as having Class Bfl-S1, achieving the criteria EN ISO 9239-1 ≥8kw/m2 and the mandatory requirement of EN ISO 11925-2 pass. • To meet suitability for use in maritime applications, in respect of flame spread, the flooring shall have been fully tested to IMO Resolution MSC61 (67) achieving a pass rating. The flooring shall be certified by an approved notified body as meeting the general requirements of Marine Equipment Directive 96/98 EC and also US Coast Guard • This product does not accumulate static charges above 2kV and is classified as ‘antistatic’ when tested to EN 1815. • The flooring material must be resistant to cigarette burns as classified by EN 1399. • With regard to EN 13893 for slip resistance, the flooring shall be classified as DS, making it suitable for use in dry areas. • The manufacture of the floorcovering must be in possession of a valid quality systems certificate showing compliance with BS EN ISO 9001. • A moisture test must be carried out to ensure that the subfloor has dried out to a level consistent with the application of rubber flooring. The test should be carried out using a hygrometer in accordance with the instructions in BS 8203. The result should not exceed 75% RH, once equilibrium has been achieved. • The adhesive used must be approved by Polyflor to ensure full product compatibility. • Products must be fully conditioned to the environment in which they are to be installed as outlined by Polyflor. • Installation must be carried out in accordance with BS 8203 and the instructions of Polyflor. • Polyflor Voyager Polysafe Stud Tile is suitable for use in heavily trafficked areas such as corridors, shops, bars, restaurants, leisure areas, crew areas and technical areas. • For further information and advice on specific applications, consult Polyflor Customer Technical Support on +44 (0)161 767 1912, or email [email protected]. • At the date of issue the data presented is correct.
