JibFlex® flexible swivel arm for the modular design came about during an offshore project in the North Sea. Welding consoles weighing 150 kg each had to be transported from a ship onto a platform of a wind power plant. From there, the consoles had to be carried through a door and then lowered through a narrow hatch inside the wind power plant.
