STURDILITE® FLOODLIGHT DESCRIPTION: The TL Series fixture is a tough lightweight floodlight for Industrial/ Marine environments. It is ideal for demanding shock and vibration environments. Fully enclosed and weather tight; allows fixture to stand up to harsh weather elements. Typical uses included Tower Lighting, Barges and Shore Installations, Offshore Rigs, Draglines, Ships and Tugboats and other Marine Applications. Its compact size has an Effective Projected Area (EPA) of only 1.5 sq. ft. for low resistance to wind forces. Construction: The housing is made of wrought and cast Marine grade aluminum components. The steel mounting bracket is Hot dip galvanized on the MTL Series fixtures for tough marine service, or zinc plated for the standard fixture. Finish: TL Series; Natural aluminum. MTL Series; Phoenix Green Lamp Type and Wattage: Available for use with mogul screw base lamps in high pressure sodium (250,400, 1000 watts) or metal halide (250, 400 watt) 'E' type lamps up to 240 volts. The lamp stabilizer helps to protect the lamp in environments where shock and vibration are common. The lamp removal port is amply sized to allow the lamp to be removed and reinstalled easily. Lamps not included. Lens: Heavy duty 7/32" thick tempered glass to withstand thermal shock and impact. Wiring: An external junction box is provided for connecting the remote ballast (sold seperately) lamp lead wires.
