MS 250-400-1000 SERIES HEAVY DUTY FLOODLIGHT DESCRIPTION: The MS250/400/1000 Series fixture is Marine rated for Outside Saltwater and Hazardous Class 1 Div. 2 environments. The heavy-duty construction ensures its durability for rough Marine and Industrial applications, while remaining an excellent choice for Architectural flood lighting where durability is advantageous. Pulse Start Metal Halide or High Pressure Sodium ballasts are integral to the fixture. SPECIF ICAT IONS Construction: Fixture head, door assembly and mounting brackets are marine-grade wrought or extruded aluminum alloy. Optional galvanized steel mounting brackets are available for severe service environments requiring additional strength for the mounting. High temperature silicone EPDM gaskets prevent entrance of moisture or dust. Hardware: All external hardware is stainless steel to resist harsh environments. Lamp Type and Wattage: Mogul screw base lamps. E or ED18 for 250 & 400 watt lamps and E25 or BT37 for 1000 watt lamps. Lamp socket is heat resistant porcelain, and a lamp stabilizer provides added support to the lamps to reduce premature failure resulting from vibration and impact. Lens: Tempered glass to resist heat and thermal shock. Finish: White thermoset powder coat is standard. Bronze thermoset powder coat option available. Mounting Accessories: Horizontal or vertical mounting kits. Needed for complete installation.
