LFHD SERIES Heavy-duty Linear Fluorescent DESCRIPTION: The LFHD Series is a surface-mounted fluorescent fixture specifically designed for high-vibration environments. This fixture features a free-floating lamp tray to absorb vibration and extend lamp and ballast life. Stainless steel latches provide tool-less access to the lamps. Tethers keep the diffuser and lamp tray from falling and being damaged during re-lamping or maintenance. An adaptor bracket is also available to mount the LFHD to the same footprint as existing SRSF/MRSF fluorescent fixtures. SPECIFICA TIO N S Housing: Corrosion-free, high-impact, glass-reinforced, UV stabilized nylon. Superior cold temperature impact strength. Diffuser: High-impact polycarbonate, prismatic diffuser. Tethered to lamp tray for easy relamping. Gasket: Watertight gasket attached to housing provides positive seal against moisture and dirt. Hardware: Diffuser latches are captive and non-magnetic stainless steel. Hardware required for LFHD-BRKT option is stainless steel. Ballast: 120-277V, 50/60Hz, high power factor, Class P, low temperature ballast standard. Lamp Tray: Free-floating design with rubber isolators absorb shock and vibration experienced by the housing. Thermoset, high reflectance, white polyester powder coated finish. 53" (134.6cm) Lamp Holders: Vibration-resistant, spring-loaded lamp holders standard. 7.6" (19.3cm) Without LFHD-BRKT: 5.4" (13.7cm) With LFHD-BRKT: 5.7" (14.5cm) Conduit Openings: 3/4" NPT threaded openings on each end of housing. One (1) threaded cord grip (nylon for non HAZ units, metal for HAZ units) and one (1) threaded plug provided. Mounting Feet: Standard heavy-duty painted steel mounting feet. Adaptor bracket available to match the footprint of existing SRSF/MRSF fluorescent fixtures. Weight with LFHD-BRKT: Approximately 24 lbs. Weight without LFHD-BRKT: Approximately 17 lbs.
