Application Information:
Hydrocoat Eco requires thorough mixing before use due to potential settling. It can be applied over most bottom paints and is suitable for all substrates, including steel and aluminum. The paint should not be thinned more than 10% to avoid inadequate film thickness.   • Bare Aluminum: Sandblast and apply epoxy primer before finishing coats.
  • Bare Wood: Sand, clean, and apply thinned coat followed by two finish coats.
  • Steel Hulls: Remove rust, clean, and apply primer before finishing coats.

As a result, there is a tendency for settling to occur, especially if the paint has been on the shelf for several months. It is necessary to thoroughly mix the paint before using.
