WORLDCLASS SUPERYACHTS The 128ft cruising sloop Mamamouchi is one of the finest Superyachts to come from the drawing board of Dubois Naval Architects. Built by Pendennis in 1996 she has a particularly sleek profile with a trademark pilot house, openly linking to the elegant lower saloon. Constructed in aluminum, she is fitted with the latest sail handling systems including captive winches for all functions, roller furling headsails and boom-furling main. This enables one man to sail the Yacht safely and effectively from the twin helm station's aft. A fully automated, concealed anchoring arrangement enables the same man to deploy the anchors at the touch of a button at the end of the day's sailing. Her Redman Whiteley Dixon interior is of oak with colourful, contemporary fabrics. The vast, panoramic windows of the pilot house give excellent visibility. Below decks the large volume hull provides for a very generous interior with guest cabins which can accommodate up to six in addition to the exceptionally large owners' suite and all cabins provide panoramic ocean views. In 2005 Mamamouchi revisited the yard for an intensive three-month refit. She has subsequently been sold and renamed 'Desirade 4'. with the work done been well worth
