The OXE DEFA System features the SafeStart 100-series heater, designed for OXE Diesel engines. The heater flange is cup-shaped to accommodate the active heating element and supports multiple conical diameters. It is optimized for the OXE compact water jacket design.

Performance
Tests indicate that a 600W 100-series heater can raise coolant temperature by approximately 50°C in 195 minutes at an outdoor temperature of -17°C or colder, achieving thermal balance. Extended heating beyond 195 minutes is inefficient, thus a timer is recommended.

Standards and Compliance
The system complies with ISO 9001-2008, ISO 14001:2004, and OHSAS 18001:2007 standards. Engine heaters and cables meet ISO/TS 16949:2002 requirements. It is tested and approved according to EMKO-TUB(61), NO 293/91 EN 60225-1, and EMKO-TSB(61) NO293A94.
