Welcome to our High Performance and Classic Catalogues for 2013 OH Marine Equipment is a Danish manufacturer of deck hardware with more than 50 years’ experience producing high quality boat fittings in aluminium and stainless steel. Ole Henriksen (OH) founded the company and began making boat fittings for his own use in the late 50’s as he felt the market could not supply the quality products he demanded. Soon the interest for his products rose, and in the beginning of the 60’s, he established a workshop in Copenhagen. As the production increased, a move to Stenloese in 1967 was necessary. In 1976 the factory in Jyllinge was built and has since been enlarged twice to accommodate rising demand. Today the product line includes blocks, tracks, travellers and custom made products. We continuously develop new products and in August 2011 our Safety Rail System was tested and certified to the European Standard EN795:1996 Class D. The system provides a method of attachment for use together with personal protection equipment in order to protect against falls from a height, such as when working outside of conventional guardrails when cleaning or doing maintenance on yachts or other vessels. In recent years we have introduced two new ranges of High Performance blocks (size 35 and 45), a spinnaker pole lift system, a self-locking boathook available in three lengths - 75, 100 and 125 cm - and a headboard car with 3 cars instead of the standard 2 cars for 22 mm track. Furthermore, we have made new additions to our High Performance Series: Blocks size 35, 45, 57, 75 & 100 and lead blocks size 32 & 45 with plan bearing sheaves and also introduced blocks for boom nok, furling lead blocks for 25 mm stanchions, Lazy Jack kits with 3 or 4 lines to boom and safety lines. Our latest product are the OH fairlead thimbles (round) - available in 6 different sizes. They can for example be used for backstay or barber haulers. We have also made a special mainsheet car and track for the KNARR-boat, control cars with vertical draw and a very small car for main sail. Our wide range of products covers equipment for boats up to around 120 feet and breaking loads up to 20,000 kg. Contact with yachtsmen worldwide ensures products with emphasis on superior design, safety, minimum wear on rope and longevity. This makes OH equipment the obvious choice when requiring high performance equipment. OH MARINE EQUIPMENT Moellehaven 5, 4040 Jyllinge, Denmark Phone: +45 46730885 e-mail: [email protected]
