Z-BOAT 1800 Remote Hydrographic Survey Boat www.oceanscience.com MAXIMIZE HYDROGRAPHIC SURVEY EFFICIENCY The Oceanscience Z-Boat is an entirely new option for shallow water hydrographic surveying. Get bathymetry data where conventional methods are not practical or safe; avoid mobilizing a workboat or conducting hazardous and time-consuming wading measurements. The Z-Boat uses advanced radio communications equipment to oer remotely-operated hydrographic surveys at up to 1500m range with all data transmitted to the shore in real time. Navigation of the Z-Boat is easy using the GNSS position and heading available on the shore laptop or data collector. Resistant to corrosion from aggressive water, the Z-Boat is ideal for industrial water management applications such as mine tailings ponds and process leachate pits. Choose between standard and high speed propulsion options depending on the survey environment. SAVE TIME AND MONEY The Z-Boat is fully compatible with hydrographic data acquisition software such as HYPACK® or QINSy, and uses standard formats for data transmission so no special software interface is required. Easy to operate, the Oceanscience Z-Boat can be added to the surveyor’s toolkit without substantial training or setup costs. Existing GNSS equipment can easily be installed on the Z-Boat for maximum cost-eectiveness. PROFESSIONAL RESUL TS WITH NO COMPROMISES The Z-Boat may be specied with several congurations depending on the desired survey accuracy, or customized to accommodate existing survey equipment. High quality, fully integrated CEE HydroSystems echosounders are available as standard. The single frequency 200kHz CEEPULSE provides robust shallow water performance, while the 200kHz or dual frequency 33/200kHz CEESCOPE oers PPS time stamped data, integrated GNSS, and a full water column echo envelope record.
