For Immediate Release: February 5, 2007 2007 Yacht & Brokerage Show and at Sea Isle Marina & Yachting Center, Miami: NOVURANIA debuts new center-console turbo diesel 31’ Chase for tender and highperformance offshore cruising With its sleek design, distinctive shape, yacht-quality finish, and exciting technical innovations, the new 31’ center console Chase is worthy of consideration not only as a world-class tender, but as a high-performance offshore cruiser. Powered by a single inboard 350 hp D-6 turbo diesel engine with DP dual counter rotating propellers, the Chase 31 offers remarkable fuel economy and reliability. The power-assisted helm provides the ideal balance of ease and feel; while the boat’s deep V-shaped hull imparts outstanding maneuverability and control. Also available in a 38’ model. Its stylish deck layout seats up to fourteen passengers in luxury and comfort, with beautiful simulated leather upholstery and backrests using closed-cell cushions. The recessed electronics compartment on the console encloses the large color plotter, and electrical switches for protection. The sculpted self-bailing non-skid deck features low-profile custom handrails and hardware, including an optional navigation arch and folding bimini top. Another innovation, the high impact fendering system wrapped around the boat, is made from Novurania’s exclusive PROTEX Hypalon/neoprene coated polyester fabric. This makes mooring simple and provides a drier, more stable ride. A towing bridle package allows towing by a large yacht, making the Chase 31 an ideal tender for diving, guest transportation, fishing, and fast out-island expeditions. Other features include: anchor locker, under deck storage locker; underwater lights; ski tow; and integrated swim platform with ladder. The Chase 31 can be configured according to the client’s specifications, including twin-engine power and a variety of custom modifications to truly personalize this vessel.
