The Novurania RIB Cabin provides all-weather crew comfort for day or night patrol. Designed for long hours offshore, the RIB performs well in heavier seas, stabilizing, softening the ride through swells and chop. At rest or at trolling speeds the inflatable sponson acts as a stabilizer for a more comfortable work platform. Yet it is a perfect fast response vessel, capable of 40 knots (diesel jet) or 45 knots (outboards) top speed. The RIB 41 has a short turning radius. The jet drive versions can execute an emergency "stop", going from full speed to zero in seconds. Standard power is twin Yanmar 440hp inboard diesels paired with Hamilton .let 2'»2 water jet drives. Outboard power is available with 2 or 3 engines. Inside the enclosed pilothouse, the helm is located starboard of the cabin, with door to the galley/head/bunkroom central. and navigation station on the port side. Full electrical panel and engine Instruments are provided with lighting for night operations. Comfortable top-grade crew seating for 2 is provided in the large cabin with space for more seating (optional). The watertight cabin door, windows, engine hatches, and large windshield with windshield wipers ensure a safe and dry crew environment in foul weather. Down below is an enclosed head, 2 twin beds with storage compartments and enclosed electrical panel. There is space for an optional galley.
