Specifications and Dimensions
The M844LW3 is a marine generator set available in two configurations: 20 kW at 60 Hz and 1800 rpm, and 16 kW at 50 Hz and 1500 rpm. It meets US EPA Tier III emission standards. Installation Data
Key installation dimensions include a 2-inch OD wet exhaust elbow, a 3/4-inch OD raw water inlet, and a 1/4-inch NPT fuel inlet and return.

Features and Benefits
The engine block is a four-cycle, 4-cylinder, liquid-cooled, naturally aspirated diesel with glow plugs for quick starting. The cooling system includes a standard heat exchanger with optional keel cooling. The fuel system is self-venting with an inline injection pump and mechanical governor. The intake and exhaust systems are designed to reduce noise and meet emission standards. The lubrication system features a closed crankcase vent and a large oil capacity for extended intervals between oil changes.

DC Electrical System
The DC system includes a 12-volt starter motor and battery charging alternator. A remote mount control panel is standard, with options for expansion. Safety shutdowns for low oil pressure, high coolant temperature, and high exhaust temperature are included.

AC Generator
The generator is direct-coupled with Class "H" insulation and features a conservative heat rise rating. It includes an automatic voltage regulator with ±1% voltage regulation, protected by a dedicated circuit breaker.
