Instructions:
  • Towing: Loosen the cord lock on the bag and remove the brass clip. Secure the towline around the cockpit coaming after securing your skirt. Attach the brass clip to the grab loop of the boat being towed.
  • Releasing the Tow Line: To disengage, pull the float in front of you to release the system from the coaming.
  • Re-packing the Bag: Open the bag and feed the rope in randomly.

  • Rinse with fresh water to remove salt, sand, and grit after use.
  • Avoid storing in damp conditions.
  • Inspect for damage before and after use.

SEA TEC COAMING HELD TOW LINE Primary Use: Coaming mounted quick release tow line. Great for long distance towing. 50 feet, shock corded, attaches around the combing with a unique quick release. INSTRUCTIONS: Towing Loosen the cord lock on the bag and remove the brass clip. Place the towline around the cockpit coaming AFTER you have secured your skirt. Place the float (which is your quick release) in front of you, and the tow line around the cockpit coaming. Push the piece of tubing up against the back of the cockpit coaming to create a snug fit. Clip the brass clip attached to the end of the bag into the grab loop of the boat you are towing. Releasing the Tow Line In the event that you wish to disengage from the rescue, pull the float in front of you and allow the system to pull away from around the coaming. Re-packing the Bag Open the bag and simply feed the rope in at random. Care Instructions Clean salt, sand and grit after use with fresh water. Do not store the product in damp conditions. Inspect the product for damage both before and after use. Do not abuse or apply undue stress to the product. Periodically coat the snap hooks spring with light oil. Do not expose the product to long hours of direct sunlight. Identify your name on the product in case of loss.
