This X44 is a 13.40 meter RIB designed as a high per- formance Interceptor and Interdiction craft. The modern ventilating transverse triple-step hull is well suited for offshore and coastal operations, and offers stability sea-keeping and fuel efficiency. Capable of speeds of 60+ knots, it can maintain higher average speeds in a seaway than smaller boats. The cabin offers comfort and shelter for up to 4 crew during patrols, and the ergonomically designed console maximises command efficiency and ease of control, and provides space for a complete suite of GPS Navigation Displays, Radar and Communications. To minimise fa- tigue and risk of injury, the boat is fitted with shock miti- gating seating.
