Description: Weatherfast Grey Primer is a heavy-bodied, fast-drying, and easy-sanding grey primer suitable for most bare surfaces except those subject to continuous immersion. It is compatible with all air-dried paint systems.
Properties: The primer is mid-grey in color, has a flat finish, and covers 10-12 square meters per liter. It is touch dry in 1-2 hours at 50% relative humidity and can be recoated after 16 hours. The product has a flash point of 32°C and a weight of 1.4 kg per liter with 71% volume solids.
Application: Before application, stir the contents and ensure the surface is dry and free from contaminants. It can be applied by brush or short nap roller, allowing 24 hours to dry. For spraying, thin with up to 33 1/3% Weatherfast Spraying Thinners, and note that longer drying times may be required.
Preparation: For new timber, sand and clean with methylated spirits. For other substrates, refer to NORGLASS Information Guides.
Transportation: Classified as dangerous goods, Class 3.2 flammable liquid, with Hazchem code 3[Y] P.G. III. Available in sizes of 4 liters, 1 liter, 500 ml, and 250 ml.
Precautions: Ensure adequate ventilation, avoid smoking, and wear appropriate protective equipment when spraying. Do not use on continuously immersed areas or under 2-pack paints.
First Aid: If swallowed, do not induce vomiting; provide water or milk and seek medical help. For eye contact, flush with water for 15 minutes and seek medical attention. For skin contact, wash with soap and water. If inhaled, move to fresh air and rest.
