TOPFLIGHT ANTI-FOULING DESCRIPTION: Contains high levels of toxins (present as Cuprous oxide) to provide outstanding resistance to fouling from marine organisms. USES: For below waterline areas on vessels that are continuously immersed in salt water. Can be burnished by wet sanding where a high speed surface is required. May be left out of the water for periods up to, but not exceeding 4 weeks without re-coating. PROPERTIES (at 20degreesC) COLOUR: Black, Red and Blue TOXICITY: Toxic, see ‘Precautions’ and ‘First Aid’ FINISH: Low sheen COVERAGE: A maximum of 7sq.metres/litre should not be exceeded DRYING TIME: Touch dry in 1 ½ hours at 50% relative humidity RECOATING: After 4 hours. 2 coats recommended THINNING: Not normally recommended but in hot weather up to 5% NORGLASS EPOXY THINNERS may be added WEIGHT/LITRE: Black 1.38Kg, Red 2.1Kg, Blue 1.8Kg VOLUME SOLIDS: Black 63%, Red 48%, Blue 48% FLASH POINT: 27degreesC CLEAN UP: NORGLASS EPOXY THINNERS U.N. PREPARATION: Unpainted timber, fibreglass or ferro-cement should be primed with 1 or more coats of NORGLASS SHIPSHAPE Primer-undercoat. Allow to cure for a minimum of 24 hours then sand to a flat finish before applying anti-fouling. New steel surfaces must first be primed with NORGLASS EPOXY TAR and followed with SHIPSHAPE Primer-undercoat. Spent anti-foulings should be high pressure water cleaned and wet sanded if necessary. Remove all loose and flaking paint and spot prime bare areas as described above. The surface to be anti-fouled must be thoroughly dry before painting commences....
